Starting my journey

Here I am with my PEG and PORT that were installed 10-14-05. The PEG is a feeding tube that I will probably start using in 2 to 3 weeks. I will need this because the radiation will cause large sores in my mouth so it will be too painful to swallow. I will need nurishment and water so this is how I will get it. The PORT is a ball placed under the skin attached to the vein for injections of chemo and other meds.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
You need to get better soon cause who'll close all the new label orders?
don't let the doctors 'pressure' you too much and don't be 'sensitive' if they 'label' you.

get better soon. the deer population is bad enough as it is. remember...you don't have to stop chasing white-tail just because you are in the hospital. new jersey sends their love and prayers...just don't forget to tie up the back of those jammies.

Dearest Tonsil Boy -

it was great talking to you last night - you sound great and very positive, but then again who wouldn't after sipping on Capt. Morgan and Cokes! We are definitely thinking about you and your family up here in NJ....we love you,

Hi Tonsil Boy -

sounds like your first day went just "fine". Glad to hear that, thanks for the update and keep up the good work. By the way, was that a mask or a bag they put on you...were you a one bagger or two??

Hi Randy. Your blog is amazing! I contacted a friend of mine in Carlsbad CA who produces a daily prayer message that is e-mailed to people all over the country and asked her to add your name to her prayer list. So, God is hearing your name from far and wide, from many, many, many people. Keep the faith, we're all thinking of you. Love and take care, Lois Altoft

Mr. Randy,
Hey, its Matt Pierorazio. Its been a long time. Recently I went down to College Park and visited Mike, and through some discussion, heard about the diagnosis. I'm very sorry, but I know you'll beat it. Seriously though, you need to hurry up with your treatment because the deer population needs to be kept in check. You are most certainly in my family and my prayers.
