5 Weeks down only 2 left
Above are the members of "Randy's Escort Service". These happy peeps have been driving me to radiation and various doctor appointments. Between them there are 2 knee,1 hip and 2 shoulders replacements. December 14 will be Ken's first knee replacement and in the near future there will be a mystery hip replacement. With these credentials you know these people know their way to the hosptal. A special thanks to Bob Kessler for the precurement of the sweatshirts. Click on the picture to enlarge it.
Thanks for you Love, Prayers and Support!!

Hi Randy,
I'm at Bon and Tim's for Thanksgiving. Bon showed me your Blog spot. It is a terrific idea. I enjoyed it very much. You look good.
Glad you only have two weeks left. Jay and Sue are in Vegas. He won $400
I'm sure he doesn't have any left!!
All is good here keep up the good work
Aaron will have to learn how to get your Blog Spot.
Love and kisses
Aunt Berne and Uncle Aaron
Hey Ran
I'm not a poet so I won't even try but I'm thrilled there is only two weeks left, that I can't deny! Keep up the good work and high spirits. Love, Bonnie (your cousin that is)
Hey Randy,
You look maaaavelous!!
Only two weeks...time flies whether you are having fun or not. You should be feeling pretty good by Christmas.
Did Weasel pour some of that crab soup in your tube or did she keep it all for herself?
Barb
randy ~ you certainly have an attractive group of escorts! glad your t-giving was nausea free. you are in our prayers and we hope your last weeks fly by.
love from mrs. formerly-melanoma-man-but-now-just-"time to empty the drain" (sounds dirty doesn't it?)
Randy,
This is Bill Collins, Weasle's cousin from Buffalo whom you met briefly on Saturday at Pat and Ron's house. Thank you for bringing your kids over and for making an appearance when it was so obvious you were in distress. Weasle told me all about your ordeal and I want to tell you how much I admire your courage in facing this awful struggle. You now have another wing of the family thinking and praying for you and fervently hoping that a year from now this will all be a distant memory.
I don't know you well enough to bust your chops yet or write a funny limerick (although I do have a sister in Nantucket...) but hopefully we'll remedy that in the not-so-distant future and then I will get in line to do so.
Best wishes and God bless.
Best regards,
Bill Collins
Tonsil Boy,
Nice to see a recent pic.....you look mabelous considering all you've been through. Great sweatshirts too. You're almost home free my friend...remember we'll all still thinkin' about you everyday and praying.

I know that TB himself can be quite the poet.
Here's a fond memory from the PG daze:
ring.... ring.... ring....
"PG Hall - Best of em all - You call - we ball......
Oh, Hi Mrs Coughlin. Yes, He's here. I'll get him."
- TB himself
circa 1975

Great photo!! (particularly partial to lady in the LIGHT pink turtleneck).
Your miracle is in progress. Keep up the good fight ... take care.

Hey Randy,
Love the photo! What a great looking crew...you look exceptional! You were missed by all on Thanksgiving at Susan's & Ken's. Maybe we'll see you for the x-mas tree cutting.
Hang in there!! Keep those spirits up! Peace and prayers to you.
We love ya,
Robin, Tim, Fishboy & Dannyboy
Randy,
Speaking of great PG Hall memories, do you throw trashcan lids down the halls of the hospital when you go for your treatments each day??? Just wondering....
Chris
The group went to U of M for kicks
Began as a crew of 4 maybe 6
Met at the south hill dining hall
Bolted to the vous for last call
Ran back to PG for a “Jack” fix

Randy, Thinking about you and hoping you've turned the corner. You're almost there; hang in there.
A year from now this will all be in the past; a distant memory and you'll be back to a great life and 26 pounds lighter !!!
Happy Chanukah. Steve
Randy,
Hope you're doing well this week, prepping for your final exam next week..if only it were THAT easy. I've got another song I didn't want to post to the blogspot in case it offended anyone, so I thought I'd send it to you directly...sung to the tune O Tannenbaum (O Christmas Tree), hope it brings a smile to your handsome face.
Refrain:
O Tonsil Boy, O Tonsil Boy
Cancer-free you'll soon be
O Tonsil Boy, O Tonsil Boy
Cancer-free you'll soon be
You've done 5 weeks, 2 more to go
We're all with you, you've got to know
O Tonsil Boy, O Tonsil Boy
Cancer-free you'll soon be
2005 was not your friend
We'll all be glad to see it end
O Tonsil Boy, O Tonsil Boy
Cancer-free you'll soon be
That spouse you've got's beyond compare
Her little snort, her skin so fair
O Tonsil Boy, O Tonsil Boy
Cancer-free you'll soon be
(Alternate verse)
That spouse you've got, we have a plea
Get her to stop, singing Me & Bobby Mcgee
O Tonsil Boy, O Tonsil Boy
Cancer-free you'll soon be
Early next year, we pray and think
Real food you'll eat, Capt. Mo you'll drink
O Tonsil Boy, O Tonsil Boy
Cancer-free you'll soon be
We'll gather round, we'll clap and cheer
To see you laugh and down a beer
O Tonsil Boy, O Tonsil Boy
Cancer-free you'll soon be
Hang in there,
we luv ya,
Paul (Nodeless Wonder)
Roses are red,
Just like fire trucks.
We're from PG,
and Kent Hall.....uh, stinks!
Take that Kent Hall...watch it or we'll send in MFL to launch another water balloon through your window.
Chris
p.s. Paul, hope you're doing well...we're thinking about you.
I think I see a glimmer of light in the back of your throat. Coming down the home stretch, just a spit to the finish. Looking forward to hearing from you..well, at least in the written word.
Happy Holidays to you and your family!
Alan
