Last Week

It looks like dad is getting his wish- to sleep through this week in the hospital. He hasn't even been on his blog but mom reads him the comments daily. So keep them coming. So far, he's handling this week better than the first one. His face is swollen a little bit from the chemo, though. He and the nurses have figured out a new "cocktail" to manage the nausea, so it's not nearly as bad as last time. Plus, it also helps that he's a massive hardcore beast.
-Michael

P.S. The redness on the side of his face and neck is from the radiation...but he says he can't feel it. It's supposed to go away eventually.

ok, if you are going to take pictures like this, you have to take a sharpie and draw wierd stuff on his face. that is a classic college pose...not that i know anything about that.

This picture looks like Randy at most parties I've seen him at. It's good news that the treatments are almost over and he can again get back into the party mode with his friends and family....Jay

Randy,
Thank goodness this hell is almost over for you. We hope to see you on the road to recovery in a few weeks. We don't want to see you in this position (sleeping, passed out, whatever you want to call it) anytime soon. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers daily. Two more days and you can leave that place and not look back!! We love you tonsil boy!!!!! Here's to a FANTASTIC New Year 2006!!
Much Love,
The Crawfords

Now we're talking...back to the new pj's that all the nurses are so fond of. Bet you can't wait to kiss them all good-bye for good.
I have some trash can lids if you need them on the last day.

Randy I hope when you wake up that the worst is behind you and you jump back on this blog. We miss you!

Lots of thoughts and prayers headed your way. Hurry home.

Love, Joan

Randy's in bed,
All dressed in red,
A man in his pajama,
Dreaming of nirvana,
Soon he will be well,
The big C's gone to hel..........

Randy - no wonder Weasle keeps singing for Bobby McGee if you're passed out like this all the time.....

Looks like you're dreaming of the good days ahead, I know it.

Thinking of you today,
Chris

Hey uncle Randy, I'm taking a study break and I was thinking about you...I hope you are feeling better.

P.S. Those jammies make me think about Christmas, how great is it that we, namely you, stumbled upon that brilliant idea to wear pjs to dinner...those other schmucks all dressed probably don't end up enjoying each other half as much as we do. (At Thanksgiving we discussed just ordering pizza this year to make it even more enjoyable, what do you think?)

I love you, can't wait to see you
<3 Alli
